Jesus Is GOD:

Jesus Is GOD:

(If you move the cursor over the scripture it will give you the original "Greek" word.)

“The First and the Last”
• These are all references to Yahweh/Jehovah God
1. Isaiah 41:4 Who hath wrought and done [it], calling the generations from the beginning? I the LORD, the first, and with the last; I [am] he.

2. Isaiah 44:6 Thus saith the LORD (1) the King of Israel (2), and his redeemer the LORD of hosts (3); I [am] the first, and I [am] the last; and beside me (apart from Me) [there is] no God.

• Here is the "trinity" in Isaiah 44:6 compare with Genesis 1:26-27

Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them  have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God created man in his [own] image, in the image of God
created he him; male and female created he them.

3. Isaiah 48:12 Hearken unto me, O Jacob and Israel, my called; I [am] he; I [am] the first, I also [am] the last.

Jesus Is Referenced:

• Jesus is referenced at least 7 Times from the Old Testament to the New Testament as God.
4. Revelation 1:11 Saying, I am Alpha and Omega, the first and the last: and, What thou seest, write in a book, and send [it] unto the seven churches which are in Asia; unto
Ephesus, and unto Smyrna, and unto Pergamos, and unto Thyatira, and unto Sardis, and unto Philadelphia, and unto Laodicea.
Revelation 1:13 And in the midst of the seven candlesticks [one] like unto the Son of man (Jesus), clothed with a garment down to the foot, and girt about the paps with a golden girdle.

5. Revelation 1:16-17 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his strength.

17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me,
saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
Revelation 1:17-18  And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand
upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:
18 I [am] he that liveth, and was dead;and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have
the keys of hell and of death.

6. Revelation 2:8 “was dead and am alive”

Revelation 2:8 And to the angel of the church in Smyrna write: The first and the last, who was dead, and has come to life, says this:

7. Revelation 22:13 I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end, the first and the last.

God the Father Confirms Jesus As God:

Matthew 3:17 And lo a voice from heaven, saying, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

Mark 1:11 And there came a voice from heaven, [saying], Thou art my beloved Son,

in whom I am well pleased.

Matthew 17:5 While he yet spake, behold, a bright cloud overshadowed them: and behold

voice out of the cloud, which said, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased;
hear ye him (listen to Him).

Mark 9:7 And there was a cloud that overshadowed them: and a voice came out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

Luke 9:35 And there came a voice out of the cloud, saying, This is my beloved Son: hear him.

2 Peter 1:1For he received from God the Father honour and glory, when there came such

voice to him from the excellent glory, This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.
• Why was God the Father so pleased with God the Son?

Isaiah 53:10 Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put [him] to grief: when thou

shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong [his] days,
and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand.

• So that He could be an offering for the sins of you and I, you see Adam lost our eternal

connection with God in the Garden and only an eternal payment could be paid for our ransom.
• And since man can't pay an eternal ransom, God had to do that for us.
• So He had to create a body for a sin offering, God had to become a Man and fulfill all of the
Law of God through Moses without sin to pay for our breaking the Law by sin.

Hebrews 10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith, Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou prepared me:

• So God had to become a baby to create a body for a sin offering.

Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself shall give you a sign; Behold, a virgin shall conceive,
and bear a son, and shall call his name Immanuel.

• It would not be "a sign" if she was just a young maiden, that happens every day, she had to be a virgin so that God could be all God and all Man in one, thus the Son of Man and the Son of God.

Luke 1:26 To a virgin espoused to a man whose name was Joseph, of the house of David; and the virgin's name [was] Mary.

Luke 1:30-31 And the angel said unto her, Fear {5737} not, Mary: for thou hast found favour

with God. 31 And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS.
HELPS Word-studies
2424 Iēsoús – Jesus, the transliteration of the Hebrew term, 3091/Lṓt ("Yehoshua"/Jehoshua, contracted to "Joshua") which means "Yahweh saves" (or "Yahweh is salvation").
• So the name Jesus is literally, Yahweh/God saves.

Luke 1:32 He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God

shall give unto him the throne of his father David: 34 Then said Mary unto the angel, How
shall this be, seeing I know not a man?

Romans 5:8 But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners,

Christ died for us.

Psalms 110:1 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou at my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool.

Matthew 22:44 The LORD said unto my Lord, Sit thou on my right hand, till I make thine

enemies thy footstool?

Hebrews 1:2 Hath in these last days spoken unto us by [his] Son, whom he hath appointed

heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; 3 Who (the Son) being the brightness
of [his] glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had (Jesus) by himself
purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high;

• There is a lot in these verses confirming the trinity again.

Hebrews 1:5 For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me

 a Son?

Hebrews 1:6 And again, when he bringeth in the first begotten (Jesus) into the world, he saith,

And let all the angels of God worship him.

Hebrews 1:7 And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers

flame of fire.

Hebrews 1:8 But unto the Son [he saith], Thy throne, O God, [is] for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness [is] the sceptre of thy kingdom.

Characteristics In The Old And The New Testament:
1)                                                               His Hair, Head:
Hair like pure wool, and white as snow.
Daniel 7:9 I beheld till the thrones were cast down, and the Ancient of days did sit, whose garment[was] white as snow, and the hair of his head like the pure wool: his throne [was like]
the fiery flame, [and] his wheels [as] burning fire.
Daniel 7:13 I saw in the night visions, and, behold, [one] like the Son of man came with the
clouds of heaven, and came to the Ancient of days, and they brought him near before him.
New American Standard Bible
I kept looking in the night visions, And behold, with the clouds of heaven One like a Son

of Man was coming, And He came up to the Ancient of Days And was presented before Him.
Daniel 7:22 Until the Ancient of days came, and judgment was given to the saints of the most High; and the time came that the saints possessed the kingdom.
• Jesus was with the Ancient of Days.
John 1:1-3 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.
The same was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made by him; and without him
was not any thing made that was made.
Revelation 1:14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow;
and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;

2)                                                               His Eyes:

His eyes like a flame of fire is too pure to behold evil.
Hebrews 1:13
Hebrews 4:13 Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things [are] naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do.
1 Corinthians 3:13 Every man's work shall be made manifest: for the day shall declare it, because it shall be revealed by fire; and the fire shall try every man's work of what sort it is.
• When you try and live pure for God, the world will fight against you.
Holman Christian Standard Bible
1 Corinthians 4:13 when we are slanderedwe respond graciouslyEven nowwe are like the
world’s garbagelike the dirt everyone scrapes off their sandals.
Revelation 1:14 His head and [his] hairs [were] white like wool, as white as snow;
and his eyes [were] as a flame of fire;

3)                                                               His Feet:

His feet is a symbol of His walk;  Brass is judgement; see the brazen serpent in Numbers 21.
Numbers 21:9 And Moses made a serpent of brass, and put it upon a pole, and it came to pass, that if a serpent had bitten any man, when
he beheld the serpent of brass, he lived.
The Brass Serpent represents sin, and looking at the brass serpent on the pole brings life.
John 3:14 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: 15 That whosoever believeth in
him should not perish, but have eternal life.
• Jesus who knew no sin became sin (brass serpent) for us all.
Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice as the sound of many waters.

4)                                                               Voice of Many Waters:

Ezekiel 1:24
Ezekiel 4:32
Daniel 10:6
Revelation 1:15 And his feet like unto fine brass, as if they burned in a furnace; and his voice
as the sound of many waters.

5)                                                               Right Hand:

His right has has 7 stars and 7 lampstands (they are in His Hands and yet, He is in the midst of them.)
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his
strength.

6)                                                                His Mouth:

From His mouth comes forth a two-edged sword;
Hebrews 4:12
Ephesians 6:17
Isaiah 49:2
Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth in his
 strength.
• He Judges unbelievers John 12:48
• The Earth is smitten in Isaiah 11
• The Anti-Christ is consumed
2 Thessalonians 2:8

7)                                                                His Countenance:

• His Face Is like the Sun:
Matthew 17:1 And after six days Jesus taketh Peter, James,and John his brother, and
bringeth them up into an high mountain apart,
2 And was transfigured before them: and his face did shine as the sun, and his raiment was white as the light.

Revelation 1:16 And he had in his right hand seven stars: and out of his mouth went a sharp two edged sword: and his countenance [was] as the sun shineth
in
his strength.

Revelation 1:17 And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me,
saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first
and the last:

• Jesus predicted this to the Apostle John, and it did happen.

Matthew 16:28

Verily I say unto you, There be some standing here, which shall not
taste of death, till they see the Son of man coming in his kingdom.

Jesus Created All Things:

Colossians 1:16

For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in
earth, visible and invisible, whether [they be] thrones, or dominions, or principalities,

Genesis 1:26-27 And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them

have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and
over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. 27 So God
created man in his [own] image, in the image of God created he him; male and female
 created he them.

Job 38:4 Where wast thou when I laid the foundations of the earth? declare, if thou hast

understanding.

Hebrews 1:10 And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands:

Hebrews 11:13 Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God,

so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear.

Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
